Let me start off the first ever post on this blog by saying I hate doing introductory posts.

Whew. Now that we have that out of the way, Welcome to Wildcat Country. In a land full of sports blogs and even Kentucky blogs, I feel like you can never get too much information, coverage and opinion of the great college athletics program that is the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

So what can you expect here in Wildcat Country? Interviews, coverage, information and opinion. And even more. Here in the Bluegrass State, we understand basketball is king (all hail Billy Gillispie!). But we also are big gridiron and baseball fans and with both teams on the rise, expect a lot of coverage of those teams as well (especially since all we have right now is baseball and spring football practice).
