I know the coverage today has been dominated by baseball, but really it’s May and there isn’t much else going on. Plus, the Bat Cats are making noise, and they deserve the coverage.

That being said, Brett Dawson of the Courier-Journal touches on a point that has been talked about here on this blog and other newspapers: John Cohen is setting the bar high at UK.

How high? Well, the Cats didn’t even watch today’s selection show. Instead, they were practicing. It’s just another step in Cohen’s mindset that making the NCAA regionals should be commonplace in the Commonwealth. That Cohen, he’s a good coach.

And in honor of Memorial Day and the men and women serving our country now and that has served our country here are two links to bring it home to UK.
