The SEC is down? Really?

Arkansas, picked last to finish in the SEC West, just knocked off ANOTHER Big 12 Power, No. 7 Texas.

This was after the already beat Oklahoma, a national title contender.

So… the SEC is down? Riiiiiight.

  1. PLBT Says:

The wins over Oklahoma and Texas are very impressive by Arkansas, but you can’t ignore the loss to Missouri State and the fact that they had to go to overtime to beat Southeastern Louisiana and only beat South Alabama by two. That’s just ugly.

Again those two wins are great for Arkansas and the Southeastern Conference as a whole, but with Tennessee’s loss to Gonzaga tonight at home, it’s possible the SEC won’t have one team in the ESPN/USA Today top 25 (depending on how high Arkansas moves up) next week. Not a single team, possibly only one means that the SEC is down.
