I’m not dead. Isn’t that terrific?

My power went out at halftime of the Ole Miss game. It came back on that Friday, but I still haven’t had cable or internet during that time. I blame myself for this three-game losing streak because I haven’t been able to watch the games. This also means I can’t give astute observations on the games because radio just doesn’t stick with me like being able to watch it.

All I know is this: the season hangs in the balance next week with Florida and Arkansas on the schedule. Win both, and everything’s back to where it was when the power went out. A loss in either game would be catastrophic. I’m not sure what needs to be done (besides starting Darius Miller – the poor kid’s done everything short of scoring 50 points in a game, and while he’s getting starter minutes, Having him out there to start the game instead of Ramon Harris is worth a shot), but there has to be something, right? Still, now is not the time to be giving up on this team and this season. We’re getting closer to that point, but we’re not there yet.

That’s all I’ve got because my neighborhood has internet running on a generator and I never know when it’s going to shut down.
