Fresh off of his visit to Louisville last night, word on the street is that Democrat presidential hopeful Barack Obama will be joining former, and possibly current, Wildcats and rival Louisville Cardinals in a basketball game this morning (May 13th).
It’s an Obama tradition to play basketball with college players of the state he’s in on the day of a primary. West Virginia’s primary is today, but Obama will be in Lexington instead.
Possible players include former Cat Scott Padgett and former Cardinal Juan Palacios. A few weeks ago, Obama hooped it up with North Carolina players. If this event really goes down, it sure will be an event to hear about.
NOTE: This is not a sign of my political beliefs. If John McCain or another Republican were to do something similiar, I would post that just the same. So that should end that issue on this site.
