Three former UK football players are set to be inducted into the Kentucky Former Football Hall of Fame in Lexington today.

Tim Couch, Mark Higgs, and Howard Schnellenberger will be inducted along with two others. Kentucky is the only state with its’ own Football Hall of Fame.

Everyone knows about Couch, the Deuce, and everything he accomplished at UK. The Air Raid will never be the same. Sad thing is, his career with the Cleveland Browns never took off before being injured and evenutally put out to pasture. Couch was a former No. 1 overall pick in 1999.

And everyone knows of Schnellenberger, the UK player would “build” up little brother Louisville and is now trying to build up Florida Atlantic. Since U of L is back on the downslide, everything’s cool Howard.

But overall, congratulations to them all. And sorry for the late morning post, today is my day off, so I slept in. Today is Friday the 13th as well… be careful out there.
